History of the Club

Established in 2003, the Somerset Vikings forged Rugby League within the Union stronghold of the South west.

As popularity grows for Rugby League, new teams continue to emerge locally providing opposition as well as the opportunity for more people to play this fast and skillful thirteen-a-side game.

The well-equipped North Petherton Rugby Union ground is the home of the Somerset Vikings and a summer season allows many players to switch codes, finding skills gained from one compliment the other.
